The IEEE Biomedical Circuits and Systems Conference (BioCAS) is the flagship conference of the IEEE Circuits and Systems (CAS) Society and an important platform for presenting interdisciplinary research and development activities at the crossroads of medicine, life sciences, physical sciences, and engineering. The conference brings together researchers, engineers, industry professionals, and students to share the latest advances in biomedical circuits and systems. Under the theme “From Chips to Care: Intelligent Circuits and Systems for Next-Generation Medicine,” BioCAS 2026 was successfully held from October 8–10 at Songdo ConvensiA in Incheon, Korea, highlighting the CAS Society’s potential and commitment to developing innovative solutions for contemporary societal challenges.

At this conference, the Biomedical Integrated Circuits and Microsystems Laboratory (BICML) had 2 papers accepted across the fields of neural signal compression and neurostimulation LDO. Ph.D. candidate Ruijie Zhao (Class of 2026) delivered an oral presentation. Master's candidate Wenyuan Cheng (Class of 2025) presented a poster. Ph.D. candidate Zhining Zhou (Class of 2022) and Feiyu Teng (Class of 2026) contributed to the related work. Professor Hongming Lyu is the corresponding author of the aforementioned work.
