Research in BICML
医疗集成电路与微系统实验室的主要研究方向为模拟、射频、数模混合集成电路设计,所研发全定制芯片为脑机接口、植入式医疗、低功耗物联网等领域提供全新的解决方案。在上述应用中,功耗和体积是制约技术落地的关键因素,实验室团队致力于通过研发全定制低功耗专用芯片突破相关瓶颈,推动医疗电子技术革新,服务人类健康。研究领域包括模拟前端/数据转换、数字信号处理、射频、功率管理等。实验室目前承担科技创新2030国家重点研发计划-青年科学家、临港实验室“求索杰出青年”、中科院先导研发计划等纵向研究项目以及开展多项校企合作。
Biomedical Integrates Circuits and Microsystems Laboratory (BICML), founded by Dr. Hongming Lyu, endeavors to develop innovative integrated circuits and systems that enable exciting applications in brain-computer interface (BCI), biomedical implants, internet of things (IoT) and beyond. In most such applications, power and size are critically important metrics. BICML aims to develop fully custom ICs that extend battery life, reduce form factors, and impart new device capabilities. The research area of BICML includes analog front-ends/data converters, digital signal processors, RF, and power management ICs, etc. The research activity of BICML is supported by the National Key Research and Development Program of China, Lingang National Laboratory, Special Fund for Strategic Pilot Technology of Chinese Academy of Sciences, etc.
